Are you looking for help to find and arrange the right mortgage deal for you?

  • First Time Buyers
  • Next Time Buyers
  • Re-mortgages

Total Mortgages are able to help you to find and arrange the right mortgage deal from our access to more than 20,000 options.

We like to take the jargon and the confusion out of helping you.

The aim of our service is simply to understand a bit about you, your circumstances and what you are looking for - and then to find and arrange the most suitable mortgage product to match.

The first step is to find out about you, your relevant and related circumstances and most importantly, exactly what features and requirements you have in your ideal new mortgage. For instance, you may have concerns about increases in interest rates, and value stability of payments. We would therefore focus on finding you a suitable fixed rate mortgage deal.

We then carry out our research, using our in house mortgage sourcing software system which is updated electronically every day with more than 20,000 mortgage product options, including Exclusive and Semi-Exclusive deals.

We will contact lenders and providers on your behalf, checking the details and making sure that the mortgage deal criteria fits with you.

We then provide you with a personalised Key Facts Illustration (product quotation) - in some cases we may provide you with more than one recommendation. We also provide you with an Initial Disclosure Document which provides information about us and our service, including any broker fees that may be chargeable. The most important thing is that you know exactly what you are getting. There are no hidden surprises, only complete transparency.

When you are happy with the deal we have recommended and we are happy that the criteria fits with your circumstances, we can move forward to agree your mortgage in principle.

We can often achieve all the above within the same day if you wish.

Once your mortgage is agreed in principle, we will send you an application pack, to include the paperwork that requires your signature and a clear list of documentation that we need from you to process your mortgage application.

We keep you regularly updated throughout the processing of your new mortgage application, and your adviser will be available to contact by e-mail, phone and mobile.

Our advice process has been designed to achieve the desired result for our clients, in a relaxed, efficient and professional manner.
